Yup, it's 15Kg on intra-country flights... Air Kenya, Safarilink, Fly 540, Mombasa Air, etc. Or Precision, Coastal and Regional in Tanzania.
Inter-country (between K & T) some allow 20Kg.
But to be safe, stick to as close to 15Kg. though overweight fees, if they insist on assessing are per Kg at about $4/per kg.

That's for "checked" bag that goes in small compartment under plane.
You're allowed a small carry-on along with camera to take in cabin. However, if these two appear heavy, they may weigh and if total is "way" over the limit, might try to assess excess fee. So just be careful.
