PATFOX, did not take the night game drive - was interested, but that was the same day that I had gotten up at 4:00 for the hot air balloon ride and wasn't sure I could stay awake! The hot air balloon ride was definitely worth taking.

This isn't an activity, but if you're on a game drive in Lake Nakuru, you might want to go up to the picnic/lookout area. There's a beautiful view over the park.

All three places I stayed in Kenya had various activities - check with the receptionist when you arrive. There was a slide show at the Mountain Lodge and entertainment at Lake Nakuru. Siana Springs had a lengthy listed posted on a board in the reception area.

Hope this helps.

Sandi - I'm in the midwest so no opportunity to drop off my passport at the consulate! I appreciate the tip though! Sounds like we'll just take care of both when we arrive.

hlphillip - well it was a good idea, but way out of your way. The airport and/or border crossings will work fine for you.

Hi There.. your report brought tears to my eyes.. we went to Kenya last year with 2afrika.. (and some buddies we met on this forum).. Falling in love with Africa is amazingly easy. I am so terribly glad you had a great time. I agree Vintage Africa and 2Afrika are just wonderful..
