This was fun to re-read and catch up on the next part now that we are back. Thanks to you we had plenty of wipes which really came in handy. We would have liked to follow your advice about the Serena--it sure was hot and a dip in a pool would have been fantastic--but taking the balloon ride put us over by the Wildlife lodge so it did not work out well geopgraphically. I, too, found that I liked jackals--it surprised me.

Okay, I'm all caught up. Lucky for you, and for the wildebeest and calf, that the hyena didn't get the baby. How interesting that the mom can halt the birth in that way.
