and nothing beats sleeping under canvas.
Lake Masek Camp is a good choice at Ndutu, but being February and peak travel time, availability might be an issue. Also the need for a vehicle to backtrack West from Gibb's at Karatu, Ngorongoro to Ndutu. See what Sanjay can advise/do, but Tarangire would be a very nice option and is on the way returning to Arusha.
Unlike in southern Africa, being in Tanzania with brutal Equatorial sun beating down on you, and it being "summer" you'll appreciate the protection your safari vehicle provides. Don't forget your SPF.
