Hello,
And here I was feeling left out by all this coffeee talk...I'd hazard a guess that bush tea means honeybush tea (from South Africa). I believe it's in the same botanical family as rooibos but from a different plant. Rooibos is also sometimes called 'redbush tea.'
The Republic of Tea sells some very nice rooibos blends and is readily available at Whole Foods (per my sister, who lives in New York):

Thanks, Julian. I've purchased rooibos from a local tea shop (well, actually not so local as it's out toward west LA). I was also wondering if that was what was meant. I'll have to check next time I go to Trader Joe's.

It's great how many specialist tea shops are now carrying rooibos -- even the little shop in the market square in Cambridge has several varieties.
Flavoured rooibos (vanilla, citrus, lavendar, etc) is really popular in Europe, though ironically very rare in SA. The best flavoured rooibos I've tried was the Marco Polo Rouge from Mariage Freres in Paris...yummmmm!
