I am looking at a 2 week Kenya and Tanzania safari starting late July 2024. I am going with a friend and we are both first timers, so we thought a migration safari in the iconic places would be best. We are about to book. I really wanted to go to Botswana for personal reasons, and I am wondering if it makes any sense to try to do an extension at the end, by myself, to Botswana. This would take care of my personal bucket list without having to return to Africa, since the flights are so long and expensive. Our proposed tour ends in Kilamanjaro. Can I fly to Botswana from Kilamanjaro, or must I return to Nairobi, and then do 4 or 5 days on the Delta and Chobe? Can anyone suggest a tour company that would be good for this? Open to suggestions! Thanks
