Savuti vs Kings Pool

Savuti is definitely on my list but I've become more and more intrigued by Kings Pool. So, my question is this... would a few nights at each be overkill considering they are in the same area?

Whatever you fancy would be OK if, by OK, you mean that an agent would book it for you.

It's all about YOUR choice.

Personally I wouldn't stay in both as they really are very close (40 mins fast drive in a game vehicle) so they cover the same areas in game drives a lot of the time.

My personal choice would be Savuti as I'm not that fussed about the extra step up from 5 paw to 6 paw accommodation whereas Savuti has the wonderful hide by the waterhole right infront of camp with great animal viewing from it, from the camp and from the tents.

But that's just me based on my preferences.

Thanks, Kavey! That's what I figured, that they were so close they probably covered the same ground during drives. I've always leaned toward Savuti so I think I'll stick with that camp for that area.

I think you'd have a great time in either! Lots of happy reports in this forum from visitors to both camps.
