STA travel insurance

Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with STA travel insurance?

PandC, I've definitely seen mention of STA in various threads. Can't recall which ones though so it might be worth typing STA into the search box at the top and seeing if it pulls them up for you?

I am also looking into STA Travel insurance--they sure are reasonable especially since their coveage is very competitve. When I first called their 800 number--the rep told me that to get the waiver for pre-existing conditions you had to purchase the air with them--but when i contacted BerkleyCare who administers the policy, they assured me that i did not have to purchase any other STA products to get the full coverage. So, i am a little hesitant to go with them. Did you also have the same experience? Any further information would be appreciated.
