We ordered the South African wines we like through our local liquor store when we got home. It is much more convenient than getting it in Africa, and about the same price by the time you add shipping, etc. Whenever I get a little nostalgic about our trip, I order another case!!! Brings me right back to Africa - and I get Amarula through my liquor store, too!!

The new rules are a pain. Just get it here when you get home. If your liquor store won't or can't get it, go to another.

I bought a bottle of Amarula ON the plane (SAA) ride home ($12)and found it at my local liquor store for $25. I think I will run down there now and grab a bottle and watch the Africam

There are many US based wine merchants who have South African wines for purchase.
