If you just got back like today, if you're like I am, right now you don't know where you are - Africa or home and probably sleeping then awake for 6 hours then back to sleep, etc, etc.

WOW !!!

What a great experience !!!
We will be at Mala Mala main camp for 2 nights 13 to 15 june and Inyati 15 to 17 june, total 4 nights in our first trip to Sabi Sands!!!
Our target is leopard viewing and your comments are very encouraging.
Due to our limited time there I just hope we will not have some of those slow and little viewing mornings you have mentioned !

thank you very much awaiting your report and shared pictures .....

So glad you had such a great trip. Aren't the rooms at Rattrays wonderful? Also its nice to be further south and so see some different parts of the property.

Tom,

Yes I think I will be taking a nap shortly. Thought I was refreshed this morning when I woke, but feel sleepy.

Matt, Yes the rooms were very nice and food somewhat better at Rattray's. Also enjoyed seeing more of the southern area of MM.

JP, Dixon was ranger at Sable Camp and Wade at Rattray's. Also got to enjoy the manager Nils who wrote the Leopard book. Most of the time we were in vehicle by ourselves as few guests during the time we were there.

Fabio, Most of the rangers favorite are the leopards and wild dogs. So they tend to drive the areas where the leopards hang out more often than not. We lost count of the number of leopards we saw, but would say we saw at least one per day.

Well, nap time ... and then back to laundry, unpacking and going thru the backlog of mail.

Hi GrannyJoan

Welcome back home after what seems a very happy gameviewing holiday! I am very pleased that you had great gameviewing! And who would not enjoy Rattrays - definitely the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. Funny how you found the food better at Rattrays', as I believe the menus are exactly the same.

The rangers are all wonderful and what can I possibly say about Nils! Certainly an entertaining and smart guy!

Look forward to the details of your gameviewing, but shall have some idea from the cyberdiary.

Kind regards

Kaye
