SAPTCO bus to Al Ula from Madinah/Jeddah? for non-muslims?

Hi , I'm searching if it is possible to travel by SAPTCO bus to Al Ula, from Madinah or Jeddah.

I don’t find definite info on SAPTCO webpage, if there is such a bus ride,

nor on rome2rio etc sites.

Other web info suggests that there must be a bus from Madinah, but also some traveler said there is a kind of informal policy, to not accept non muslims, practiced on will by some company staff.

I don’t know if this is outdated info, hopefully yes.

If someone can give a more certain info / experience he has, would be a great help!

Many thanks travellers!

Nikolaos

If you mean that there is some info in this webpage relatively to the specific matters of the post, please do point me to that part if you can, sorry for not getting it,
thanks

Sorry, I can't answer your specific questions, but when I lived in Saudi I was under the impression that Medina and Mecca were for Muslims only. Perhaps you could call the number provided for the tourist call center and ask?

yes, Madinah was forbiden in the past, but last few years they opened it to non muslim visitors, except the central mosque as I read.
Still there maybe an unofficial confusion among some saudi personel about how to treat tourists, it seems there have been bad experiences with saptco bus, so I try to find out about this, before I go,
else, such a probable denial to board the bus, at last minute, will destroy my trip and / or my budget!!
