Kwando offers really great green season pricing for Botswana and I really enjoyed each Kwando Little Kwara (in the Okavango Delta) and Kwando Lebala and Kwando Lagoon.

If you go by March 15th, this is a very affordable option and it offers a variety of different camps including a couple in Namibia:

I am certainly no expert but we have been to southern Africa and Tanzania for wildlife and birds on two exceptional trips. If you are intrigued by Namibia I heartily recommend it. The desert scenery of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei is so unique and allows unbeatable photography. It was extravagant to get there but it was a one-of-a-kind experience. The wildlife was secondary to the scenery - climbing the sand dune right after sunrise was exceptional. We stayed at Kulala Desert Lodge which was perfectly located for the early morning adventures on the dunes. It is nothing like the Southern California desert!
