Restaurants in Israel
Can any one suggest some good restaurants that we should miss in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem?
(2 night in Tel Aviv and 4 nights in Jerusalem.) Also a special place in Jerusalem to celebrate a "BIG"
birthday- 30 ( I wish!!!) Thanks again for all of the help we get from the Fodors community. Your suggestions have helped make our vacations very special.

Hi
When we visit Tel Aviv we usually go to the Old Port area. There are many seafood restaurants both kosher and non kosher. It's an area that is a big attraction for people. There is other things to do in addition to dining. It is a long "boardwalk" along the sea filled with flea market items etc.

Aladin is still there and its really photogenic. Foodwise is so, so... I'd also recommend the port area in Tel Aviv. In Jerusalem, for your special day, try Arcadia. For other nights, there's a small italian restaurant near the Dan Panorama hotel tha is worth trying (Italia HaKtana -or little Italy- is the name of the place). Inside the old city, nothing beats Abu Shukri: cheap, good and quite an experience.
