Recommended Hotels in Israel
Hi ,
Which hotel do you recommend staying in? We're looking for a clean hotel, a pool would be nice for the kids, and air conditioning is a must (not more than $100):
Nazareth or near Sea of Galilee:
Haifa:
Jaffa (not Tel Aviv):
Jerusalem:
Thanks!

Tel Aviv and Jaffa are the same city. I honestly don't think that Jaffa has any hotel and if one exists it for sure won't have any pool. Why do you insist on Jaffa? You will have great difficulties finding any hotel for not moe than 100 dollars.

If you would consider a private room in a hostel, that might meet your budget.
Take a look here:
http://www.youth-hostels.org.il/english.html
and here:
http://www.christusrex.org/www1/ofm/cic/CICguest.html
The first are in the Jewish areas. The second are Christian hostels and guest houses, some located in theChristian quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem or in the Muslim quarter.
These are all 3* hotels under US$100, but are not in the Muslim areas. Some specialize in the Orthodox Jewish religious groups: http://tinyurl.com/nk64p

Eri, just wanted a hotel close to the Old city and near the beach. Any recommendations?
I've done some research since posting this and wow are hotel prices expensive in Israel!
Africnow: Thanks for the hostel information. Do you know anything about the Austrian hostel?
