Quick money question
Does it matter what denominations when exchanging money at Johannesburg airport? I know about the new, no tears etc. but are $100's o.k. or should I break them into $20's before I go?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Banks and money exchange booths are the places where I would expect the least problems with larger denominations. However make sure to take your ATM receipts for those US$ bills with you as they might insist on seeing them for money laundering prevention reasons.

It depends. Some exchange bureaus may feel the $100s are more easily counterfeited; others think otherwise. Personally, I'd opt to take the smaller $50s and $20s. Sure a thicker pile, but likely less of an issue.
