napamatt, I religiously checked very rack of bootleg DVDs -- I know Borat is banned in Kazakhstan, but I also understand that its very popular...I would have loved to have purchased a bootleg Kazakh copy

Michael - if you haven't already - I suggest you get Marke Elliott's book on Azerbaijan. It also Tbilisi. He has a whole section devoted to the history and logistics of Nakhchivan. AZAL flights are always interesting......
