Kevin,
What wonderful stories your kids will have back at school - baby ellies, leopards at such close range, cheetahs galore, lions dining.... Marisa and Sean have a great knack for catching the exciting moments. Loved the pile up of crocs!!! Where are you taking your wife for her birthday next year??? Deb

Those are fabulous pictures. What was the main camera make and model?
I am so ready to go but have to wait until March.
Thanks for sharing your pics.
Have you written up your trip journal?
If I missed it, I apologize.

My daughter Marisa added a few photos, including some more of the cheetah cubs. Also the following is a link to a video of a lion sizing Mari up for dinner:

Marisa took most of the photos. She had a Canon Digital Rebel (EOS?) with I believe a 75-300 lense. At times swapping lenses with Sean's film SLR for a wider angle lense.
Trip report coming soon.

Great photos, Kevin! My favorite was the beautiful sunset sky with the rain showers and the eles in the foreground. What kind of monopod were you using with your video camera? Did that work okay, or was it in the way? I assume you propped it on top of the vehicle and shot from that position.

The video was fantastic. Amazing.
I got the chills and excitement at the same time watching it.
A friend just bought a Canon digital and amazed on the optical zoom. I was reviewing other makes but may check the Canons.
