Safari Operators to Selous & Ruaha
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction...I'm interested in going to Selous and/or Ruaha in June or July 05 and am looking for tour operators (Africa or US-based)who handle these areas. I've researched many of the better known operator's web sites and they all focus on northern Tanzania, with no mention of Selous or Ruaha (except go2africa.com) I'm a single traveler who doesn't want to spend a fortune but does want to work with an agency who can make all the arrangements, such as transportation between camps & airports (flights), reservations at lodges/camps, etc. I have a good idea of what I want, so can provide the agency with clear guidance but do not have the time or comfort level to make intra-Africa logistical arrangements. Any thoughts? THanks.

I was also going to suggest the Fox family. You can find whatever information you need on their website as detailed in the above post. They should be able to handle your needs once you arrive in Dar-es-Salaam. Do let us know what you decide on after speaking with the Fox folks.

Another vote for Foxes. Click on my name or search on "mikumi" and you should find our Southern Circuit trip report from June 2003.

Hello, no problem. I should fine someone before then. I hope, lol.
Anyway, the FOXES are great. If my Uganda thing falls through. I already have a back up plan for that area again.
Been in contact with Jane Fox.
But it depends on those internal flights they have between those parks.
Good luck.
