Our trip to Kenya and Uganda

A beautiful sunrise greeted our arrival.

Our digs

Our breakfast and dinner table

View from my room

4 months old rescue

This is peak tourist season so we have been told to expect big crowds wherever we go.

Joyce’s souvenir/jewelry shopping done on day one at this genuine Kenyan glass bead shop. Yay!

Awww

Not an African bird, but never seen any bird with feathered feet.

Thanks dcd.
You made it safe and sound.
Did you tour the Blixen House.?
There is a neat restaurant there called The Predator,
where you can eat some African animal meat.!!
Keep those pictures coming.
Don't know why that bird has feathers on its feet
..... it does not get cold there
The Penguins need those feathers.😉🙃

Thanks dcd:
Welcome back home. I hope the plane ride (s) were uneventful.
Thanks so far for the wonder pictures. I am so looking forward to more , and I know how great the birds are there, so that will really be an extra treat.
I am hoping you got to see your Leopard and got a taste of the Great Migration.!!
Right now you are probably getting some much needed
