Ngulia bandas/ safari camp
We are planning (booked but no downpayment yet) to stay at Ngulai Safari Camp/ Ngulia Bandas in September and their Web site has been down for months. I've found some photos online and know it is now booked through Let's Go, but I wondered if anyone had any more information on it. I was a litle concerned to see its name mentioned in connection with a Kenyan MP (in a negative context) when I googled it - given the missing Web page.

Okay, Patty just answered part of this question by email. It is now called Rhino Valley Lodge. And the new Web site is http://www.tsavocampsandlodges.com/ngulia.html
Still would love any more information though.

this may not be helpful, and you may already know this, but my experience of "bandas" in east africa is that they are very rustic.
on the bright side, if there is a lodge near to it, you could always upgrade on the spot if it is really grim.

Kimburu, I haven’t been to “Ngulia”, but I know someone who went there by bike and maybe I’ll go there in June
Now the “Question (2) Guests” thread is blocked as well. You’re probably right in your Lost theory. I saw the first episodes of Lost, thinking it was some matinee style adventure that had a beginning and an end. When I understood that not even the scriptwriters knew the end, I returned to the computer. Has it ended?

Since Nyamera and Nyama are not the same person, multiple screen names can't be the reason for this post being locked.
But since the editors "have made more of effort to be more transparent" we certainly will get an explanation.

I am not sure if Lost has ended, Nyamera. I doubt it. I watch it on DVD. and have only watched the first "Season". There are three or four seasons so far... so it's a long story. I was also a little disconcerted to learn that the end wasn't known to the writers - it would be bad to watch 60 episodes and then find it was a shaggy dog story.
Thanks kerikeri. Actually it's pretty nice-looking for the price - more cottages than typical bandas.
