Has anybody visited the Ndebele-village near Johannesburg? Is it interesting to visit or overrun by lots of tourists?

Nobody has been there?

I have been an Ndebele village by a mission just off the N4 between Pretoria and Witbank somewhere. It wasn't marked on the map, but our driver knew about it. It certainly wasn't touristy at all. We were the only ones there and had to wake up the people to open the doors as it was visiting hours. I recall a small game reserve there also. I t was an interesting visit for me. I don't know which village you mean?

I visited the one near Jo'burg many years ago. It was definitely aimed at the tourist, but not overrun. But it's been so long ago that I was there that I'm sure my experience isn't relevant. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Do you have any hints on getting to this Ndebele village if you are not driving yourself?

I'm thinking I might like to do this.
