Msg to LyndaS
Hi Lynda - This probably sounds like a strange request, but I see that you will be staying at Kichwa Tembo in a few weeks, so I was wondering if you could say "Jambo" to a few of my friends there. If you could tell them "DJ" from Phoenix-USA says Hi and will see them in September.
Joseph Masibo - Head Guide
Kenneth Nyaga - Works in the bar area
Sammy Ngugi - Work in the dining room
Shieni Roparia - Guide--The best one
gt
If you get a chance to do this that would be great.
Thanks so much!
Dana

Not a strange request at all Dana!
I would love to say hi from them, and I think Sammy might have been the guy in the dining room that saw to it that we were always very happy when we were there last year!
I will print this out, and put it in my 'journal/field book' in the Kichwa Tembo section! I'll report back at the end of May....

That's great Lynda - I think the guys will get a kick hearing from me through you. All the staff in the dining room are fun, but Sammy is one of the most friendly and funny ones there. He certainly does go the extra mile to make you feel at home. If you do get to speak to him ask him about the sugar snap peas and if they have any for you. One year I requested them and Chef Henry (who is no longer at Kichwa, but at the Mara Safari Club) brought in 25 kilo's of them. I had those peas morning, noon and night....lol!
Thanks again!

Oh you guys have me pegged on this! It was a tough call, but I glued the request in my journal
The tiny stapler would have been my first choice but just in case I needed to remove it, I couldn't find a tiny staple remover to bring!!!
