I bet 'Acacia' is just the name that ADS assigns to the camp, kind of like how ATR likes to call the Nomad camps Piaya, Masek, etc. even though no one else refers to them by these names.
Marcus,
You can ask ADS which ground operator they use and which specific Seronera area special campsite is used.

Marcus re your questions about travel time to Mnemba and the Palms--my info is based on reading only--hopefully someone who has stayed at either place can confirm. I believe that it may actually be less driving time to Matemwe where you take the boat to Mnemba than to The Palms. From Matemwe you have a relatively short boat trip (15-20 minutes) BUT, and here is the complicating factor as I understand it--the boat trip is tide dependent. So you may want to ask about this--perhaps you would not be able to arrive or depart exactly when you would want to because of the tide. Or maybe it is not really a problem because there is a wide window of travel time. IMO, it would be a shame to miss any of your precious two days at Mnemba because you had to arrive later or depart earlier based on the tide.

For two days, Mnemba is a long way to go. Besides the drive across the island, there is then the boat ride and there are no docks, so you have to wade ashore.
The Palm is on the Southeast coast, not the Northeast where Blue Bay is located. Matemwe is on the Northeast coast, but only 2-cottages have air conditioning. And Zanzibar is hot and humid.

The info on the Acacia Camp Site that I have is that it is 2 miles (supposed to be about 5 minute drive) from "Sero 10 campsite" which is on the ADS website. And the Sero 10 is supposed to be 1.7 miles east of the Seronera airstrip. Which I guess means it's in the Seronera! So I think you all said this was a positive?
