clothing

Were headed to Morocco on Mar. 10 with the regular sites and also a night in the desert. Does anyone know how warm our clothing should be this time of year. Thanks in advance.

The desert for certain is cold at night - so, layers, layers, socks, gloves, knit hat and scarf.

Thank you Sandi for your reply. Now I know a "coat" of some type is necessary.

It was warm in the day, but quite cold in the desert when we were there in April, once the sun went down.

I remember someone here who was there in March who had snow on her way to the desert and rain in the desert and it was very cold for them.

Layers are the way to go, where silk underwear, warm socks, warm sweaters, down vest etc.

We were very warm and cozy in our beds with fresh sheets and very warm covers and they heated the room before we went to bed. It is cold when you get out of bed, but the sun heats things up again.

Layers are always good for travel and you can still pack light with lots of layers ( we did).
