Oh how I love cheetahs. Your pics. are stunning Hari - so well done that you want to just reach out and touch that beautiful fur - safer by vicarious photo viewing, though.
question;
I like the blurred background effect, was that intentional, as some of the background looked to be fairly close.

Thanks Sherry...let me take a closer look once again and revert with a proper answer.....

Marc, thanks. Tamron 200-400mm. I just got myself a Nikon D200. Good choice!!! I will use it on some Indian safaris over Dec-Jan prior to taking it to Africa next year.

No those pics.... the background just appears to be close. Infact, those pics are of her on straw-like grass on top of a huge termite mound. So, i guess the height factor makes it appear that way.
