For some additional places to stay outside the Umfolozi, have a look at;
Mkuze Falls Private Game reserve as they have an inexpesnsive, comfortable tented camp.
Thula Thula is good value too.
Another in the area Isibindi, this is an amazing Zulu exprience where you'll learn of the kwa-Zulu Natal history form a a Zulu perspective as opposed to the common Anglo perspective.
