Hi

Tentatively booking for Mombasa in August. Will be flying with British Airways to Nairobi and then have to take an internal flight to Mombasa.

Has anyone done this and which airline did you use? What are internal flights generally like in Kenya?

Opinions welcome!

Yes, we did, although this is some years ago. We flew Kenya Airways and felt completely safe, even in the small Fokker 50 aircrafts they used at the time! It was a smooth 1 hour flight.

2 years ago we flew RT from Nairobi-Samburu and Nairobi-Mara. Couldn't have been easier. But they were from a different airport than the international.

I have flown Nairobi to Masai Mara and the flights were fine. I think we flew AirKenya.

Kenya Air now flies 737s between Nairobi and Mombasa. From Kenyatta airport in Nairobi.

Just got back from Kenya and flew from Nairobi to Mombasa and back on Kenya Airways. Have never had a problem doing this on my five trips.

If you need to fly to many of the parks Air Kenya is the way to go.
