Is a riad pool in Marrakech usable in May?

I'm deciding between riads and the one I most prefer doesnt have a pool. After checking the weather it look like it will still be cool at night the second week of May. I love taking a dip after walking around the medina, but will it even be warm enough to use at this time?

Will depend on actual weather, water temperature and how warm you want both. I think this is just one of those questions you'll have to mull on your own. A terrible problem to have.

The pool is probably rarely used from Oct to May, the water is absolutely icy. If you do venture in (nobody went beyond groin level whilst we were there!) the immediate surround provides good grip but beware wet feet on the marble beyond, lethally slippery!

I would not count on going in the pool in May unless it was heated. Might be shaded, too, if it is inside a courtyard, which would not do much for the temperature.
