Hotel in Tel Aviv near the airport

I have an early AM flight from Tel Aviv to Paris. Please recommend a hotel with easy access/transportation to Lod Airport in Tel Aviv

There really aren't any hotels near Ben Gurion. Just stay in TA and plan on a very early taxi.

Thanks for the response Gardyloo. Do you have a suggestion of a Tel Aviv Hotel, literally for sleeping for a few hours before catching a cab. I have an 8:15 AM flight so I am wondering if you have thoughts about the timing on calling for the cab.

another option to think about is taking the rail. the rail service betwen TA and airport runs 24hrs a day. if you stay at a hotel right by one of the stops, yo can hop on the rail. it's pretty cheap too.

TA is only 20 minutes drive from the airport so any hotel there is pretty close. Bear in mind the location of your hotel in relation to the railway stations, though, and also remember that trains dont run on Shabbat - Friday night-Saturday night.

Hope this helps.

You need to be at the airport 2 1/2 hours before your flight, so that means arriving around 5:45. I would suggest ordering the taxi for 5:15...latest 5:30. I know this sounds extreme, but security can take a long time. If you are flying EL AL, it is worth doing on-line checkin 24 hours before the flight on the EL AL website. It saves time as there is a special checkin counter for those who did it...and you can reserve your seat and don't get bumped off...
