Herding (Large) Cats
In the grocery store wine aisle yesterday, I caught sight of a wine named Herding Cats, with a great-looking label showing two cheetahs. It was a Western Cape wine blend of merlot and pinotage. I took a bottle home, and was it ever nice! Lots of pinotage flavor, tannin-y, fruity but not too fruit-forward. I'm going back today for 6 more bottles.
This is a new label to me here in the US, and so I thought I'd give a heads-up to any of you lovers of SA wines who frequent this forum.

celia,
there are people around who insist that a very good label won't be on a bad wine.......
have not idea whether this is true or not. but your experience seemingly supports this!
here are some reviews which might be of interest to you
