Help with where to go after Morocco

We are planning a trip to Morocco & as we always do, after the sightseeing, etc. part of the vacation, we always go to a beach resort to unwind--Nice, Marbella, Santa Margherita Ligure.
We want to visit Morocco in the Spring before the very hot weather but are concerned about Nice, for example, not being warm enough to lie around a pool. We don't need to go in the ocean, just enjoy relaxing on the beach preferably, or a pool. Can anyone recommend someplace where the weather in May for example is dependable.

"Essaouira can be overwhelmingly windy."

Guess it depends on when you go, I don't remember it as especially windy.

Both Agadir & Essaouira would be good, don't remember the latter being windy either

Essaouira gets always windy and cool , but Agadir is not the best option during Summer, so i'd suggest to go to Sidi Kaouki outside Essaouira there is a wonderful unique place to enjoy the streched clean and beautiful beach for chilling ,
