Help with South Africa Itinerary

I know this is last minute, but I am planning to go to SA in mid march for 2 weeks. I want to go to capetown, wine country, garden route, shark diving (if possible), vic falls (and i doubt i have time but if so, botswana okavango delta). Can someone recommend an itinerary that would incorporate these things. I usually plan my trips myself, rent cars and fly as much as possible but since i just pretty much decided to go, i know i dont have that much time to research and plan this. thanks for any help. (been to kenya and rwanda so if i cant see a safari on this trip, its ok)

Hi-
I was originally going to do that itinerary and here is what my TA had suggested.

Day
1 Arrive Cape Town - Waterfront Hotel
2 Waterfront Hotel - day trips - Cape Town and surrounds
3 Waterfront Hotel - day trips - Cape Town and surrounds
4 Car rental - self drive to Spier
5 Car rental - self drive to surrounding winelands. Overnight Spier
6 Flight: Cape Town - George - car rental - self drive to Plettenberg Bay
7 Plettenberg Bay - car rental - self drive, exploring Oudtshoorn
8 Plettenberg Bay - car rental - self drive, exploring Nature's valley and surrounds
9 Flight: George - Johannesburg - Livingston - overnight Royal Livingston
10 Royal Livingston - unlimited access to Victoria Falls
11 Land safari drive to Chobe - overnight Chobe Camp
12 Chobe - full board + game drives
13 Chobe - Livingston - Johannesburg - connecting flight back home

with the hotels being - the Radisson in CPT, the Village at Spier in the winelands, Lairds Lodge between Knysna & Plettenberg Bay , Royal Livingstone at VF, and Chobe Safari Lodge.

Hope this is somewhat helpful.

I don't think this is the best time for Great White Sharks.

I decided it was a little too much driving for my tastes and we are planning something different now to Cape Town, Sabi Sands, and Victoria Falls. The pricing is for mid-October so right before the peak season starts.

The travel agent was Denim Travel in South Africa - they were recommended by my South African colleague. I have been working with
Ilse Smit [[email protected]], she is great, but since they work with tour operators sometimes it takes a bit to get all the pieces together.

All I can advise is if you are going to do the wine route, Franschoek (about 40 minute drive from Cape Town) is a must, dinner at 'Haute Cabriere' and 'Le Bon Vivant' - 2 of the best meals we have ever had! Lovely B & B to overnight is 'Maison Chablis'
