Help with local airlines & routes

Are there any carriers that fly from the Central/Western Serengeti to Nairobi without going through Arusha ?
If not, are there any from the Masai Mara area which fly directly to NBO?
How far of a drive is it from Mbuzi Mawe to the Masai Mara area?
We are trying to save some time. Our itinierary starts at Tarangire & we are thinking of ending at the Serengeti
and then flying back to NBO.

No flight from the Serengeti unless going via Arusha to Kenya and then to the Mara. Yes, there are flights to/fr NBO/Mara.

From Mbuzi Mawe to the Mara, you have to go via road (if you choose not to fly) - cannot cross the border between Serengeti/Mara. You either drive via the Western roads to Isebania or East via Arusha. In both instances - not doable be in one day - you'll need an overnight somewhere.

The drive from the central Serengeti to Masai Mara via the Isebania crossing will take approx 10 hours. Most people who travel this route choose to break up the drive into 2 days, overnighting at Speke Bay on Lake Victoria in between.

Thank you both for your responses.
If we were to fly one way either at the start of our safari or at the end which one would you do?
Our safari starts on June 1st and we could either fly into the Serengeti from Arusha and end at Tarangire or drive to Tarangire and fly out of the Serengeti.
Which airline flies in and out of the Serengeti? Does anyone know the timings and the fares from Arusha?
Our current itinerary is to drive to Tarangire,Lake Mayanara, Serengeti and the Crater before heading back to Arusha. I am concerned that it may be too much of a drive but at the same time I do not want to fly if it means missing out on some game viewing.

"Our current itinerary is to drive to Tarangire,Lake Mayanara, Serengeti and the Crater before heading back to Arusha."

The way your itinerary is set, it's a drive from the Crater to Arusha - about 5-hrs.

If you wanted to fly, I'd route: Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. From the Serengeti you could fly back to Arusha.

The flight from the Seronera area of the Serengeti (Precision Air) is at about 10:15am, arriving in Arusha in 1-hr or more if they stop at Manyara. Once here, you can take the 2pm shuttle to NBO or the 1:45pm flight to Wilson (domestic) airport in NBO.

Your tour operator can arrange for any of these flights. If both flights, figure about $350 +/- person.
