Just got back fro a GTG with Phil

I joined Phil (on his way to Zambia - I'm so envious) and his friend Ruth and we had a wonderful GTG.

I wanted to share the link with you for Ruth's travel images - a truly wonderful collection and very inspiring, much like Phil's own.

Her portraits in particular are truly exceptional.

Kavey:
Were they excited? I know he was hoping for a "quieter" time - re: less tourists. I wish I had remembered he was leaving so I could wish him safe journey...

Phil was sooo excited about the upcoming Zambia trip, yes and also about spending some time with his longtime online friend, Ruth. They've been pottering around London today and will be visiting one of my favourites, Camden Market, tomorrow before Phil's flight tomorrow early evening.
Ruth's a fellow Brit, based in Manchester and a huge talent, especially in someone so young. I find her images inspirational and aspire to be able to take portraits as good as hers!

I imagine that Phil may log on before his flight to Lusaka.

Bon Voyage, Phil!

Try not to gain too much weight at Luangwa River Lodge, but if you do, you will probably lose some of the weight at Puku Ridge!

Happy shooting Phil!

Look forward to see what you will surprise us with visually upon your return.

Peaceful landings;
