Gambia photos February 2005

For anyone who is kind enough to want to have a look, my photos from The Gambia are here. We stayed at the Corinthia Atlantic in Banjul for a week, and did the usual local excursions, fishing, mangroves, canopy forest and a walk round the village gardens and grasslands. If you like birds you'll love the Gambia;it is a very different experience!

It works. Its nice to see photos from some non-safari destinations, including these to Gambia and another recent link with photos from Benin and Togo.

The hyenas were in an enclosure at Abuko, a small reserve with some canopy forest. There were lots of vultures and some baboons in sort of zoo enclosures too,It was pretty grotty there but the rest of the reserve was interesting to walk round
