First Timer needs advice

I've been reading the postings here and while I didn't think I could get any more excited about visiting Africa, I was wrong. The postings and the pictures have stirred me even more.

I'm planning a trip to Tanzania (and Kenya)next year mid-August to September (3 weeks). I've been working with an outfitter and he's recommended the following itinerary. Can anyone give me any feedback on these locations and lodgings during that time period?

Mara - 5 nights - 3 at Rekero, 2 at Serian
West Kilimanjaro - 2 nights Kambi Ya Tembo
Tarangire - 3 nights at Oliver's Camp
Ngorongoro - 2 nights at Sopa Lodge
Lake Manyara - 1 night at Kirurumu Camp
Ruaha - 3 nights at Mwagusi Lodge
Selous - 3 nights at Sand Rivers

Sounds fantastic. Most of the places have gotten some great feedbacks. And it seems you really have gotten some of the best.

I have been to all of the parks and you will have the time of your life.

You can check out africatravelresource.com for ratings of the camps.
But what are they charging you for this itinerary?

Looks like a great itinerary! The only suggestion I might have is that 2 nights is likely enough at Tarangire, but if you can afford to stay 3 nights at Olivers then go for it!

I agree that 3 nights in Tarangire may be too much. We have just returned from our safari and had one full day and one half day game drive in Tarangire which covered a large proportion of the park.

I did 2 nts in Tarangire the first time and opted for 3 the next. You are there at an excellent time for the park.

You will have a trip of a lifetime. Then again, you may be planning a return by Day 2.
