In October, I took a Tauck tour to Egypt and Jordan, adding days on the beginning and end on my own. It was my first tour and I can write a review if anyone is interested.

Thanks! It's hard to see when it's small, but it was a huge lightning storm at 2:00 a.m. It rained for hours.

I am also from Chicago area (Deerfield) and we are taking a trip to Egypt/Jordan this November. Any suggestions? We have contacted A&K and Big Five but also heard from this site about a private guide that sounds wonderful. We do private guides not groups so Tauck was out although I know they are great!
