Duane's Pictures -July Tanzania Safari
Hi all,
I have whittled down our safari pictures from over 1200 to these 3 small albums posted on Shutterfly. Just click on the link below and if all works well you'll get to the site.
http://ricesafari.shutterfly.com
Once you open an album, you might need to select "all pictures" then click on View as a Slideshow. There might be an easier way to view, but I sure don’t know how to set it up.
I used a Cannon S3 and didn't change any of the dials or settings so you get what you get I have to say, this camera takes excellent video. Very surprising.
If you want to read the trip report is can be found here:

enjoy,
Duane

Very nice pictures, Duane including some great bird shots. I think my favorite is of the (dwarf?) mongoose in the tree.
We stayed in Duma tent at the River Camp last year! Sandi reported that the camp had mostly been washed into the river during the rainy season this year and had to be rebuilt! Your pictures reflect what seem to be new buildings, so I'm assuming you saw the new River Camp.
When are you going again?

Calo,
that explains it. I saw older pictures of the River Camp when we were researching but they were not the same as my pictures. Very different actually.
Mystery solved. thanks,
Duane
