Hi everyone,
Just to let you know, the center alignment is not correct. It should be left aligned. We're working on fixing this. In the meantime, you can log out and log back in, refresh your page, or press F5. All of these solutions have been working for the other posters. We're also working on adding pumping up the line between comments.

I find the new format very difficult to read. There needs to be much better definition between posts, and the text should be left justified not centred. Like Percy, I prefer to have the left column and the main section scroll independently of each other. CR

Was accessing previously thru AOL browser and had all the issues as mentioned above... a real turn-off and ready to give up completely on Fodors.
However, if I access thru Explorer, it's left justified and a separation between replies. Drop-down menu to "change forums" works well. And tiny print for "add reply" or "you're signed in" are at regular font size.
Guess it depends on the browser being used.
Still don't like the idea that the questions (left) move along with the replies (center)... annoying.
The Fodor's IT techs should have tested these changes on all browsers.

To me, the changes seem subtle but OK (I mean in the forum part). But it's still no "real" forum to me. In this day and age; why not allow people to add pics or even vids? Surely not because of disc space. I pay 4,99$ per month for unlimited disc space and bandwith...

I agree that if you press F5 , it will straight things out ( a bit )
Hi patandhank..........yep those were the good old days.
You know if they had the left column and the posting column scroll independently....
then
I am wondering WHY Fodors does not put it back again when it makes reading long posts so much better.
Hannah:
We posted at exactly the same time, but thanks for the information.
I need all the help I can get !!!
HEY !!! I knew I saw that Orange and White header for Fodors somewhere..... of course ,
I just drove by a Home Depot

Good idea atravelynn
I posted on the Mexico Central America Forum that the Orange Fodors header banner at the topof the page is so big,....that after the Menu bar and the Task bar being on top...
the actual Fodors posting is only a fraction visible now.
When I open up Fodors I can only see No. 1 posting in the left hand column and that is all.
Slowly advertising is taking up all the space.!!!

advertising
I see none here (except the "Fodors" banner) and very little at other sites, using -
http://adblockplus.org/en/
Easy to setup and use
It blocked from downloading 6 ads here this page

Amy - are you still working on the alignment issue? I use Safari browser and it is still centered and hard to read. When I use Firefox, it looks great. Hope you get it working nicely for all browsers.

The ads on the Orange bar ads are moving but since you have to scroll,as soonas you log into Fodors if you want to see anything...
the Orange Bar is out of view, all the time, except when you want to change forms
Are you reading this, ... Advertising Companies ,your wasting your money !!!
