cdg terminal 2 transfers

Hi, fodorites!

Flying Air France to Morocco. Connect in CDG Teminal 2E to 2F. Went throught there years ago. I read there is supposed to be a walkway. Is that the best? Where is immigration & how long should one allow to connect. Thanks in advance!

I walked (actually RAN) from 2E to 2F just 6 months ago. You will go through passport control and re-clear security along the way. I think (not sure) the legal connection time is 1:15 but even that can be tough at CDG. Personally I prefer walking to the shuttle bus but that's because I can really haul butt if I need to.

Thank you! I have one hour & 35 minutes between flights. Will I make it?? Has anyone traveled Air France to Morocco?

Unless you have any huge delays I think you will be OK, just don't piddle around along the way. In other words, make sure you clear security at 2F before you stop for coffee or a snack.

One other thing, if you plan to walk be sure to pay attention to the signs and don't make a wrong turn. If you are at all confused then ask directions. I found it a little confusing and I had to stop people along the way to ask for help. Part of my confusion probably came from being in a HUGE hurry, as I was determined not to miss my connecting flight.
