Yes, I agree--I think they would add a guide if something wanted one.

No night drive with Green Footprint--we did not spend the night in Manyara--just a half day trip on our way to the crater.

Did you do your whole safari with Green Footprint? or add these activities to your safari with someone else?

We did the whole trip (9 days) with Green Footprint, which was really great.

I got some pictures of this trip over here:

Your pictures are absolutely gorgeous! That is the youngest cheetah cub I have seen. You have some classic "Lion King" poses by that male lion. The light is so great and your pictures are so crisp--what equipment did you use?

Instead of answering here--would you start a new thread with a trip report and a link to your pictures? Even if the report is short--Green Footprints has not had many trip reporters here and since you had a great time with them, I am sure that other readers would like to know that. Plus, if you do a separate report, Lynda can put it in the trip report index so that many trip planners in the future will have the info.

Again, great pictures.

here's my trip report:
http://www.fodors.com/forums/threads...amp;dirtyBit=1

it has become a bit too long perhaps.. but hey..its there hehe..

Some of the foto's are shot with my snapshot camera through binoculars, and some with the analog Nikon SLR camera.

I'm getting myself a Nikon D70s with a 80-200mm F2.8 lens soon, before I go back for another great safari

I asked the same question in your trip report thread so that readers will see it there also.
