Well, we got back last night and schmerl's post describes exactly how I felt! I hope to do a trip report when I'm a bit more organized but for now I'll say it was fascinating, exhausting, exciting and oh so interesting! This is not a tour for the faint of heart but yes, you can keep up -- you'll find untapped energy. I just want to say, though, that if you can get on a tour (not just Israel-- he takes tours to lots of places) with Jacob Shoshan DO NOT PASS IT BY! He's brilliant, incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth, funny and not at all text-booky as some tour leaders can be. You will not be disappointed!

Congrats GTG, I'm glad that such an anticipated trip went well. We learned a bit more about Judaism last month in Montreal---our Mile End rental was smack dab ground zero within the Hasidic community.
