camp kalahari, anyone know if it has reopened?
I am booked to go to camp Kalahari in late May. I have heard conflicting reports about this lodge being open. Has anyone been there or heard any recent reviews since it changed hands? Is it currently open , and if not does anyone know when it will be?

Camp Kalahari is open and has been fully upgraded. I visited the camp last month. The area is full of Zebras. The activities of this camp are unique in Botswana. Meerkats visits, quad biking on the salt pans and a walk with the Bushmen all most enjoyable !!

Camp Kalahari is and remains open - definately because Uncharted keeps San camp closed for 2009 and CK is their mid range option now .

hey, I am also going to Camp Kalahari end of May, actually May 31, June 1.

and as you seem to be, I count the days, it is my first safari!!
