Bursa is a very interesting city. If you are interested in shopping for carpets it is a better place to shop than Istanbul. I don't know about a hydrofoil. We took a ferry and on the way stopped for a few days on an island in the Sea of Marmara. I don't remember the name but it is a wonderful little island with no cars. A great place to stop on the way to Bursa.

Do you mean seabus?There is two diffrent
kind to go to Bursa :/ Yalova
I recommend the one which you can take From Kabatas/Istanbul..If you travel by car it costs appr 20 euro or less just for the dirver then you pay about 5 for the each in the car

if you travel w/o car appr 5 euro

You can take another one but not so fast as the seabus it is called ferryboat ...But you can take it from Kartal appr 1 hour away from city centre by car it is cheaper but I2m not sure about the price...If you're interested then I can ask for you..
Have a nice trip..

Re: Chris
YOUR WELCOME

Ferry which is from Kartal (1 hour away from city centre)they run when they are full but during summer time it takes appr 45 min to take ferry..
Ferry is cheaper..You can get out of the car sit outside watching the Marmara Sea(not very clean) and drink turkish tea-nostalgic

Seabus I'll tell you a website;
wwwi.ido.com.tr(it is available also in english)
Seabus is more comfortable(air-condition)you have to go out of your car and sit inside and watch the sea through your window...
You can take it from YENIKAPI to YALOVA
every 2 hours (from 9.30)and drive to Bursa .Driver fee is 20.00 euro and for each in the car appr 4.00 euro
As we have high inflation cost of the tickets may change only in turkish lira (in euro and dollars it is always the same amount)
I checked this infos today...

Pls ask for any other info..
