Hi Gator,
I'm trying to decide between those three lodges for a 4 night stay on my honeymoon next year. Which do you think is best for a honeymoon (e.g. Rooms, service etc.). Also, do you think it's a big mistake to only stat at one lodge? Thanks a lot
Best,
Mike

Mike - my two cents: with 4 nights, I'd stay in one place. I would choose a lodge in Sabi Sands. But I would try to increase my safari time to six nights and do Phinda and Sabi Sands.

Thanks for the comments...
Mike: Everybody is different but my thought is that a three night stay is good for most (they threw in a free night I think at Exeter so we had four nights there) but I like changes of scenery, animal habitat, etc...so I would see if you could add one night and stay at one place three nights and another for two...sometimes with four you are repeating your routes a bit...my preference would be to check out another spot...but truth is, not sure you can go wrong...we saw such great wildlife...Sabi Sands was quite a bonanza and our accomodation at Exeter River would be great for a honeymoon...the rooms are HUGE and you have the private plunge pool...a sitting area...outdoor showers (and indoor) tubs...even the floor was heated in the bathroom...I doubt a Ritz could be as accomodating! (and the food was very good!)
