Back from Bots - Videos
Hi Guys
Well I am back from a truly wonderfull 2 week stint in the true Garden of Eden. There is really so much I want to say but I have decided to rather share the experience with you guys via my vidoes. I honestly do not have the time to sit and do a full report like so many of you as I have come back to a barrage of work and have been sitting here in front of my comp literally for 72 hours or so trying to catch up. As I am writing this I am waiting for YouTube to do their thing so I can show you a brief video we filmed of the lions and buffalo at Duba. I do have it up on my own website but if I give the address then I will get into the dustbin once again. I will be back as soon as YouTube give me the URL

Thanks, Mark........what fantastic footage of the lions....
Everything looks green and nice. The lions themselves look in very good condition. Even the old duba boy....he looks like he'll pull together for a few more....
Thanks for sharing, Mark

Hi Guys
Here is a short video of a female leopard we encountered whilst on our way from Zibalianja to Kingspool. She was a young female who certainly gave us a spectacular lesson in tree climbing.

This video was taken at Tube Tree whilst we encountered a juvenile delinquent bull elephant who decided we were nice mates to play with and proceeded to mock charge and yell at us. While this was going on our guide Sinani spotted a leopard on top of a termite mound about 500 metres away and off we drove to see the leopard. Low and behold our delinquent friend followed. See the video. Most of the mock charges I could not film as we were on the run to say the least as some folk were scared.
Amazing stuff.

We are still with the most useless 25 year old guide called Silani as you will see on the video. He did pretty damm good at Tubu but FAILED at Kwetsani.

Mark - Video the mock charges even if you are on the run. As best you can anyway. We did this and it is still fun today to see/hear the ele trumpet and run up right next to the vehicle and hear us yelp and everything bouncing around, including the video, engine racing, etc.

Mark - I have just watched the video of the elephant and leopard and have to tell you that I think it is really excellent. It brought back memories of a few mock charges we endured whilst in Botswana in October - I'm afraid I am one of those folk who are scared of them! Nevertheless, I am fascinated and will return time and again for more of an adrenalin rush! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Guys
First off thanks for all the comments.
Here is a short clip of having sundowners in the Selinda Spillway with Elephants and then in the Savute Channel with Hippo.
