I'm glad I amaze you. I speak of my own experiences at Lagoon. Others on this board have commented that they have experienced some indifferent guiding and less than stellat management. At Lagoon the managers were never made known to me, and the camp familiarisation process didn't even happen. I merely write of my experiences, I have also written about poor management when at Savuti and great management at Kings Pool. I believe that your experience at any camp can be shaped good or bad by the people there, and I usually find that if people go out of there way to make you welcome, I love a camp. When I get no acknowledgement of my existence from management that may or may not be there it tends to spoil the experience. My guiding experience has been written about before and does not need repeeating.
As for 2*3, that is definitely less acceptable for photographers or videographers than a 3*2 config.
In fact that's probably the reason Kwando are planning on moving to 4 per vehicle.
I would love to have seen Jonah's video, but I would have to know who he was to ask in the first place.
I'm glad you like so many had a great experience.

Napamatt,
Hi! Maybe Jonah wasnt around during your visit.......if he was, i can assure you that he'd go out of his way to make you feel at home.
Judith did mention Anita......she was around, but, didnt seem very social during my stay, so i will reserve any further comments........

Hi,
Is Kwando thinking about or def. changing the seating? I'm half thinking of staying there but was put off by the seating, as it would end up being myself or my very polite DH stuck in the middle. It seems too restrictive for me to be caught between 2 weight lifting, 6'6' guys with bad colds (it's always that way)

Sherry: I'm not sure if anyone else knows about the vehicle configuration change at Kwando camps but I met the Guide Trainer when I was at Lebala and asked him about the set up. We had been luck enough to have our party of 4 to a vehicle without sharing but we saw plenty of vehicles packed with 6 which I think would be an awful way to go. He told me they were considering changing to limit vehicles to 4 but they were going to have to consider pricing the increased costs into their rates for next year. I don't know if the change is definite but I think they know it is a competitive problem so I think they will change.

Regarding Kwando's new Little Kwara camp, it is unlikely that they will open on May 1 as originally scheduled......i think they are running a bit behind schedule. Anyone planning to stay at Little Kwara in the immediate future need to contact your respective agents to double check. They may try and accomodate you at the old Kwara Main camp.......if it is not ready yet.
