Amman tourism

Will be flying from Cairo to Amman. Would like a suggested airline for this flight. Would like to hear opinions on the following or other ground operators:

1). William Khlief of Champioins Tours
2). Desert Horizons Transfer

The goal after touring in and around Aman is to cross into Israel at the Allenby bridge. It would be helpful to engage a company that can manage the touring and transiting to Israel. Any comments on the above.

Where will you go in Israel?
If you plan to visit Jerash, Gadara and Pella,, it might be easier to cross the border at Hussein Bridge/Beit Shean.

Thank you for this info. We intend to fly to Amman and see Jerash, etc. but we have already been to Petra. If you have any additional recommendations - places to stay in Amman, guides, etc. I am open to that.

Nobody here spoke about Petra, however

Two airlines fly the route non-stop: EgyptAir and Royal Jordanian. Pick the flight with the better schedule that fits your needs.

If you've been to Petra, have you also been to Wadi Rum? It's excellent.

The Madaba Map is easily doable from Amman, and very cool to see.

The other major stops on the King's Highway are great, too.

Amman doesn't have much to offer other than Jerash.
