I have limited time--So I plan to hit 3 places. Essaouria, Marakech, and Sahara Desert. 6 nights, 7 days. Does this sound about right?
What tour group would you suggest on my Sahara Desert trek?
How many days would you assign to each place?
Use a train to Essaouria from Marakech? ANd hire a car to Sahara?

If you'll spend 6 nights in Morocco you'll have 5 full days in the country, not 7. Presumably travel on the days at each end, best not to use them to plan anything else. Travel takes time so with only 5 days to work with I suggest you spend 3 nights in Marrakech and 2 in Essaouira. With so little time that would be a sensible and enjoyable allocation of your days. If you want another location add at least 3 more days given travel time to & from.

There is no train between Marrakech & Essaouira. I've made the trip several times by both grand taxi (car & driver) and by bus. I recommend the very comfortable and inexpensive Supratours buses.
