Galeries Lafayette still offering 10% discount?
Hello. Hoping that someone can confirm whether Galeries Lafayette is still offering the 10% discount card to visitors who show their passport (I am not talking about the VAT refund). I couldn't find anything about it on their website, and even found some articles stating it expired in 2004. Has anyone received this discount recently, hopefully in 2006? (Does it include discounts on cosmetics?)

Galeries Lafayette is still offering the 10% discount card to international visitors.
In terms of the limitations: It's not valid on any items marked with a "red dot", Louis Vuitton, books, records, or in the restaurants.

Here's a link to a pdf voucher that is valid until December 31, 2006.

It has been my experience that the 10% discount is available for the asking (with a passport) from customer service/

I've seen ads for this discount card just this month in the most recent France Guide, which is a general travel guide put out by the French Tourist Office. So it does still exist -- I don't think they really want tons of people to know about it, only tourists who hear about it through a certain method, and that's why they don't list it on their website. I don't know. I also think you can get it just by going to the welcome desk, but the ad in France Guide says you get it sent to you (along with a map) just by emailing Galeries Lafayette with your request, including name and address, at [email protected]
Mention the reference "France Guide" in the email.
